Donors of all blood types needed
BOWLING GREEN, KY, Dec. 13, 2021 — Following severe storms and tornadoes throughout Kentucky, the American Red Cross will host an emergency blood drive in Bowling Green on Monday, Dec. 13.
“The need has been great for some time as we have seen donations drop over the past six months,” said Clif Redish, Interim Regional Donor Services Executive with the American Red Cross. “We have already seen the impact a low blood supply can have on our area. This has been increased following the tragic tornadoes on Saturday morning. We urge all to please donate blood. All blood types are desperately needed.”
